Your body contains about 70% salty water and unless you are hydrated it is impossible for your cells to work properly or for healing to take place.  Tea, coffee and alcohol do not encourage hydration and the molecules of tap water, which is heavily processed, are too large to easily pass into your cells. This is why nearly everyone today is dehydrated.  (Natural spring water and shungite water (see below) contain smaller molecules).  Your cells have a scaffolding structure which, in combination with good hydration, inflates the cells enabling enzymes to work and nutrients to get in and toxins to get out.  Spring water is the best – its movement over rocks energises and mineralises it, making it slightly alkaline and this is important as many of us today are too acidic.

Proper hydration is a key component to health and is very powerful. When first drinking natural water, there may be a detox reaction as waste is flushed out of the cells.

Water’s main recognised functions are to:
• Dissolve and hold nutrients in suspension
• Transport nutrients to the cells
• Remove metabolic waste
• Remove environmental toxins
• Activate cellular energy

Water researchers include Victor Schauberger, Masaru Emoto, Dr Batmanghelidj, Dr Patrick Flanagan and Dr Wheeler who have all demonstrated the mysterious complexities of water.  It is now clear that fresh mountain spring water hydrates to a far more profound degree than filtered tap or bottled waters. In 2003, the Nobel Prize for Chemistry was awarded for the explanation of how ‘Aquaporins’ (the cells’ water channels) carry water, one molecule at a time through tiny channels in cell membranes.

Fluoride
Some regions still add fluoride to water but this can weaken teeth and bones, calcify the pineal gland affecting hormone levels and calcium metabolism, inhibit iodine uptake (needed for thyroid function) and increase the risk of fractures.  There was only one study demonstrating a beneficial effect of fluoride, and it was fraudulent.  Fluoride also has a deadening effect on brain function.  A recent study published in the BMJ looking at levels of fluoride in UK water found a correlation between fluoride levels in tap water and hypothyroidism.

Bottled Water

Bottled water:-

  • Usually contains imbalanced levels of minerals  (e.g., too high a ratio of calcium to magnesium; sodium to potassium)
  • May contain harmful chemicals like nitrites
  • If the bottle is plastic, this will leach into the water.  Plastic bottles are high in phytates, which block mineral absorption. Plastics are xenoestrogens and are carcinogenic
  • If glass, the bottle will contain a cleaning solvent.

Water Filters

Filters are reasonably effective at removing most toxins but most also take out the minerals although some models include a mineralising cartridge. Most filters do not remove chlorine or fluoride nor do they correct the molecular structure.

The best water filters

If you don’t live near a spring, there are water filtration systems that turn tap water into spring water. The YVE Bio in particular, comes in various sizes and options, see below.

YVE-BIO® filter systems

In mimicking the gravitational passage of water over rocks, combined with 7 – 9 filtration stages, (remineralisation, alkalisation and oxygenation), the YVE-BIO Water Filter also harmonises the molecular structure of water. And there is no wastage (unlike reverse osmosis systems).

The YVE-BIO® filter systems  are economic to run as filters only need changing between 6 months and three years, it makes the acid/alkaline balance the same as healthy blood and oxygenates the water. This is particularly important today as most of us are oxygen deficient due to shallow breathing and reduced levels of oxygen in the atmosphere.

The YVE-BIO® filter systems  is available in either 7 or 12 litre models and it is made from food grade neutral plastic which is BPA and phthalate free. The Eva Water Filter has the option of a far infrared filter which adds photons to the water which boost cell energy production and immunity.

YVE-BIO® filtration systems

In the pages from YVE-BIO® filters show that filter our tap water in the natural manner demonstrated to us by nature.

The water runs through the high-density ceramic filter with a pore size of only 0.2 µm (micrometres). The ceramics filter out up to 100% of germs, bacteria, sediments and other harmful substances. Up to 90% of nitrates are bound in the filter cartridge containing charcoal (without nano-silver), ceramics and other mineral substances, and harmful substances are minimised. The water is re-mineralised by the mineral shell and energised by the natural flow and turbulences. In addition, the water tap contains a magnet that causes the water to rotate clockwise. This is the basic principle of the various models. Additionally EM pipes (effective micro-organisms) provide for antioxidative water, and the water stones (precious stones) make it energy-rich.

The YVE-BIO® Alstar 700 All-in-One brings the water into an even higher alkaline range. In addition, the water obtains a hexagonal structure thanks to the installed twister.

Baths and Showers

According to the American Chemical Society who presented research showing that the chemicals from showering are not only absorbed through the skin but inhaled from the steam, taking a shower can be more toxic than drinking tap water.  Volatile organic compounds were found in water, including chloroform (which has anaesthetic effects), pesticides and carbon tetrachloride – all of which are carcinogenic.  Chloroform levels can increase in the blood by 100 times following a ten minute shower.  Professor of Water Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh, Julian Andelman, recommends taking a quick, cold shower (I personally would rather attach a shower filter!)

The National Academy of Sciences estimates that 200 to 1,000 people die in the US every year from cancers caused by ingesting or inhaling contaminants in water.  Bathing is not as bad because droplets dispersed by the showerhead have a larger surface-to-value ratio than water run from a tap into the bath and adding some vitamin C and boron to your bath will neutralise chlorine and fluoride.
